OK, so I'm tired from 9 hours of driving so we'll
send a full update tomorrow. The following highlights from our day
today:
- Killarney National Park- hike to beautiful
waterfall. Turns out we could have just driven to it... but no bother
the hike was great.
- Drive the Ring of Kerry. Unfortunate 40km
detour because a road was closed. Upside we found a yummy roadside cafe
and shop in the middle of nowhere when we turned around.
- Still alive after narrow roads with oodles of on-coming
behemoth tour buses, and me driving like I'm ready for the next Le Mons road
rally. The only comment from Mark (as he white knuckled the door
handle and braced himself) was "We're not in any rush"
- Kerry coastline- STUNNING
- Dromoland castle... uh... it's a castle. We're
staying here. Need I say more? Oh, yeah, they upgraded us to a
coolio suite so they have to call the Garda to drive us out of here in the
morning.
